 Do I need an appointment to visit? 

Yes.

All venue visits are by appointment only. We look forward hearing from you, contact us to schedule a venue tour at events@aixlachapellefarm.com or at 301.907.8808.


 Can both the ceremony and reception be held?

 Of Course! 

The natural setting is breathtaking and you can find the ideal spot on property.


Is event insurance required?

Yes. 

For your security and ours, event insurance is required along with all vendors and contractors must be properly licensed and insured with documents submitted to our Director of Events.


Are there onsite restrooms?

Yes! 

We are excited to share our new stunning washrooms furnished in elegant and vintage décor. 


Do you offer overnight stays or dressing rooms?


We do. 

Our cottages are available as options to the Host for use during the day and overnight stays. Subject to availability.


Is an event planner required? 

Yes. 

We believe having an event planner for both weddings and mitzvahs is necessary so that the special day meets your vision. Our Director of Events will assist your event planner with the logistics of the venue and oversee all vendors along with contracted staff abide by our policies and your contract.

We are happy to provide recommendations.


Is there a list of approved caterers?

 Yes.

 We have an approved list of caterers. If there is someone you wish to work with that is not on our approved list please have submit for consideration. All caterers must be approved.


Are there items or activities prohibited? 

Yes. 

To preserve the historical grounds, safety of our animals, guests and environment; the following are not allowed at the venue open flame candles, bonfires, fireworks, non-biodegradable confetti, wish lanterns, and sparklers. Affixing decor pieces to the walls, furnishings, windows or buildings is not allowed.


Can we set up the day before or earlier day of ? 

Yes.

 If we do not have an event prior, you may make advance arrangements for early set up at an additional hourly charge. Otherwise, setup and breakdown are restricted to the event timeframe in the contract.


Are we able to provide our own alcohol?

 Certainly! 

Hosts can provide their own alcohol and must be served by the contracted licensed vendor.


May I bring my dog to be part of the event? 

Yes. 

Well behaved dogs are welcome if they will be with you and your guests the entire event.
