Hours of Operation

Visit our Facebook or Instagram pages for scheduling. We are open on weekends based on the orchards availability and the special event schedules.

We are a Private Residence and Working Farm.

Picking Fruit

Be gentle with the trees as they are heavy with fruit and their branches are at their maximum capacity. Never climb trees. Pull gently on ripened fruit and you will find it will fall easily. Each variety has a period of several weeks over which fruit ripens. Do not pick fruit on the ground as it may be contaminated from animals, it is considered a health hazard.

All fruit should be thoroughly washed before eaten.

Dogs and Other Pets

Aix La Chapelle Farm is home to many animals throughout the property. There is a no pets policy as it is a health and safety concern for the animals and guests.

Service dogs are welcome with proper documentation.

Entrance and Fruit Fees

The fee for orchard admission is $15.00 per car.

Market price per pound for fruit picked.

CASH ONLY.

Growing Practices

At Aix La Chapelle, the farm practice is “integrated pest management” which means the farm monitors the fields for damage and makes decisions on how best to manage the problem. The farm utilizes both organic, non-organic and beneficial insects to combat damage to the crops.

What to Bring

Make sure to bring reusable shopping bags to collect your fruit. Suitable shoes or boots such as those one wears for hiking as well as protective clothing should be worn as it is a day in full sun with tall grass and prickly shrubs. The farm suggests packing bug spray, sunscreen and water. If allergic to stings and/or sensitive to triggers be mindful of days with high humidity and pollen counts.

Please do not forget to bring any needed medications.

 Donations

Aix La Chapelle donates a portion of our orchard admission fee to various animal charities. Support with a donation please leave a check made out to: Bailing Out Benji. The farm operates with volunteers who glean the fields.

Throughout the year, we donate to food banks and shelters.

If interested in volunteering, send an email to events@aixlachapellefarm.com.
